In the curriculum I would make them more real with the world of today. In composition there is nothing about popular music and that is where there is more work sources. That happens only because of that obsolete vision of conservatory that is no longer applied almost anywhere in the world.
In the area of infrastructure mmmm we are very poor compared to other faculties, just say that here the lifts fall with students inside and nobody cares. In fact the dmus prefers to bother with the students and rate them as "radicals" for asking for minimal things.
Studying in the U of Chile has been quite disappointing in academic and operational aspects. Lack of implementation and academics who should have retired or who are not qualified to teach because they have almost no pedagogy or a decent work of a curriculum that is in contact with the real world.
In a country that does not know our roles, the U of Chile has done little to improve those aspects.
